Well June is underway and you know what that means!!! Nino month! So, to celebrate, AGE Gumi has decided to release a special project. What is that you ask? Well we have decided to dig back a few years to 2003 and bring you a movie in which Nino stared in called 青の炎 (Ao no Honō) or The Blue Light.
“Nino plays Shuichi Kushimori, a 17 yeard old who lives with his mother and stepsister. One day, without warning, his estranged stepfather returns home from a long absence. He quickly falls into a circle of drinking and starts abusing his ex-wife and daughter. When he begins making sexual advances towards Shuichi’s stepsister, Shuichi is compelled to take matters into his own hands.” – Wikipedia
We are aware that there is a subbed version of this out there floating around, but we are not sure of the quality it holds. Therefore, we would like to take this project on and have a formal release of Ao no Honō. If you haven’t seen the movie then this will be a perfect opportunity to watch it through AST.
